Ms. Carolyn Mahoney, registered Nurse from Western Australia, visits IAD

Ms. Carolyn Mahoney, a registered Nurse from Perth in Western Australia, volunteered at IAD from the 14th to the 26th of September, 2013. She has worked as a phlebotomist for ten years and is currently serving as patient-support nurse for those undergoing biologic-medication for psoriasis. Inspired by a presentation on IAD’s Integrative approach of Lymphodema at a conference in Australia, she decided to visit IAD. She was eager to study more about the integrated treatment procedures for filariasis/lymphedema. She has donated Rs. 16, 870/- towards the treatment of patients suffering from Lymphatic Filariasis/ Lymphoedema.
