Ms. Rosemary Kelly, a Laughter Yoga trainer volunteered at IAD

Ms. Rosemary Kelly, a Laughter Yoga leader and certified Laughing Lymphercise instructor and trainer, from Toronto volunteered at IAD from the 5th to 17th January 2014. Inspired by a presentation “IAD’s Integrative approach of Lymphodema - demonstration on yoga and breathing exercises: Asanas and Pranayama” at an ILF conference, in Toronto, she was eager to learn more about the role of Yogatherapy in integrated treatment procedures for filariasis/ lymphedema and hence decided to visit IAD. She learned the yoga techniques that are followed at IAD in its integrative treatment method.
