Sponsorship and events Sponsored activities, quiz, pun runs, music nights…… there are so many original and enjoyable ways to raise money. If you are planning any fund raising activities, contact us before hand for information and support materials. 6. Be volunteers 6a. We always welcome helpers to our team of volunteers and there is plenty to do. Could you spare sometime to help out in the office or to work as a regional appeal? 6b.Are you working in a corporate body? Please volunteer to introduce our programmes to your companies’ corporate social responsibilities division. Since your company would be doing social activities, you might be able to influence to consider supporting our programmes. |

You may also sponsor a research programme or sponsor equipment for the treatment centre. Our Needs We support individuals and families suffering from chronic and neglected skin disorders. Currently, we work out of very inadequate rented premises and are unable to meet the demand for our services. With your support, we hope to reach out to more patients with our low-cost self-help home care and integrated treatment methods. We need better infrastructure and facilities to provide treatment for chronic skin patients; train patients family members, paramedical staff and doctors; and continue our research. Our treatment and training centre will cost an estimated Rs.90 lakh.
The Institute of Applied Dermatology is planning to build a patient training centre to transfer the self help, low cost, home care treatment to groups of Lymphatic Filariasis affected people and paramedical workers. This photo was taken when Mr.Nagaraja Vastarey, the architect from Bangalore who is also a teaching faculty in R.V.College of Engineering in Bangalore visited the site along with Mr.Arun the structural engineer from Bangalore and Mr. Rajesh Shenoy Civil Engineer from Kasaragod. Vastarey and Arun are giving their technical advice free as the part of their charity |
